WHAT IS THE NMSA?
The NMSA is a student-governed organization that represents all 8 CNME accredited naturopathic medical schools in the United States and Canada. The international NMSA board is made up of 28 board members to represent the naturopathic medical student community of approximately 2400 members. The NMSA was established to support naturopathic medical students at accredited naturopathic medical schools in the US and Canada during their academic career by providing educational resources and increased access to information on how to succeed in their future careers as health care professionals.
The NMSA acts as a unified, sustainable, ethical and professional voice for naturopathic physicians-in-training across North America.The main emphasis of the NMSA is to function as an advocate for naturopathic physicians-in-training, and provide educational and community building initiatives that prepare students with the tools, experiences and connections necessary to become successful physicians.
